Description
The RPi-Lab Casing Kit is a housing kit for using the Raspberry Pi microcontroller in a laboratory environment, for experiments or DIY projects. The modular housing consists of various components that can be plugged together. The connections are robust and hold the individual parts firmly together, but can be removed at any time. This means that the housing can be used multiple times or adapted for different projects.
There is space on the top for a 50x100mm circuit board, which can be inserted into the housing via sliding rails. The circuit board can also be accessed when plugged in via a housing opening on the top. Due to the distance from the housing, the circuit board can also be equipped with electronic components and can still be plugged in and removed.
On the sides, the housing kit has openings for the interfaces (Ethernet, USB, SD card, GPIO, HDMI, LEDs, power supply) of the microcontroller (Raspberry Pi Model B Version 1-5, Arduino Uno)
On the bottom there are holes for wall brackets, cable ducts and ventilation, as well as holes for attaching the microcontroller with screws. A DC axial fan can also be optionally mounted on the side. On the back there is also a DC connector (XT60) which can be used to power the microcontroller or the experiment.
